چکیده
In this paper, we investigate the performance of a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted large-scale network by characterizing coverage probability and average achievable rate using stochastic geometry. Considering spatial correlation between transmitters (TXs) RISs, their locations are jointly modelled Gauss-Poisson process (GPP). Two association strategies, i.e., nearest fixed association, both discussed. For RIS-aided transmission, signal power distribution with direct link is approximated gamma random variable moment matching method, Laplace transform aggregate interference derived in closed form. Based on these expressions, analyze channel hardening effect RIS-assisted probability, typical user. We derive expressions for strategy an interference-limited scenario Numerical results provided to validate analysis illustrate effectiveness transmission passive beamforming improving system performance. Furthermore, it also unveiled that independent density TXs scenario.

متن کاملSmall Large-Scale Wireless Networks: Mobility-Assisted Resource Discovery
In this study, the concept of small worlds is investigated in the context of large-scale wireless ad hoc and sensor networks. Wireless networks are spatial graphs that are usually much more clustered than random networks and have much higher path length characteristics. We observe that by adding only few random links, path length of wireless networks can be reduced drastically without affecting...
متن کاملLPKP: location-based probabilistic key pre-distribution scheme for large-scale wireless sensor networks using graph coloring
Communication security of wireless sensor networks is achieved using cryptographic keys assigned to the nodes. Due to resource constraints in such networks, random key pre-distribution schemes are of high interest. Although in most of these schemes no location information is considered, there are scenarios that location information can be obtained by nodes after their deployment. In this paper,...
